Junior Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with Product Management, UX Design and Engineering teams to help us develop experiences that strengthen our relationships with our customers. The quantitative insights you bring will have an out-sized impact on our customers. You will report directly to the Product Team leader. This position is part-time.

• Combine multiple data sources and develop reports independently
  
• Make sure all necessary data is gathered in the correct way, identify currently missing
  
• pieces and facilitate adding them into the mix
  
• Analyze data, both qualitative and quantitative analytics, to derive insights that improve
  
• the user experience, identify opportunities, and drive engagement
  
• Summarise and present findings in actionable ways, and share directly with stakeholders
  
• You can explain the methods behind your analyses and validate your results. Once you
  
• have data to support your ideas, you are willing to advocate for and move your
  
• recommendations forward

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field (Statistics, Software
  
• Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
  
• Demonstrated experience, familiarity and ease with handling large data sets and
  
• crunching numbers
  
• Information Retrieval (search/recommendation/classification) experience or Human
  
• Judgment experience
  
• You view unexpected data results as a puzzle to be solved, a challenge that you accept.
  
• Experience with one or multiple of the following: R, Python, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks,
  
• JavaScript, SQL, Airflow
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex
  
• problems into simpler terms, and effectively influence both peers and leadership
  
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and a team member
  
• Strong written and oral skills in English (min. B2 CEFR level)
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Git
  
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments
  
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
